Summary

In this topic, we will discuss the following subjects:

  1. Rent payment process (due dates, payment methods).
  2. Deposit Information

1. Rent payment process (due dates, payment methods).

Rent is due monthly by the specified due date as outlined in your licence agreement. Payments should be made either via bank transfer to the designated Leevin account, as detailed in your agreement and cash or card directly at our office. When making a bank transfer, it is crucial to include your Booking Number in the notes or comments section of the transfer. This ensures we can accurately match the payment to your account. Please be advised that failure to include your Booking Number may result in a fine if such an omission occurs three times.

Be aware that if rent is not paid by the due date, a late fee will be applied. This late fee is in addition to your regular rent and aims to encourage timely payments. To avoid any extra charges, setting up reminders is highly recommended.

2. Deposit Information

The deposit, serving as a security guarantee, is payable at the commencement of your licence agreement. This deposit is held as a safeguard against any potential damages or unpaid rent during your stay. Upon vacating the property, the deposit will be refunded to you, provided you have adhered to all terms of the agreement. To ensure a full refund, customers must either:

  • Provide at least a 30-day notice before the termination of their licence agreement, indicating their intention to leave, or

  • Successfully transfer their vacancy to another reliable individual during the term of the licence agreement, subject to Leevin's approval.

The deposit is a critical part of your agreement, ensuring both parties fulfil their obligations. We encourage all customers to familiarise themselves with the conditions under which the deposit will be fully refunded to avoid any misunderstandings at the end of the licence agreement.
