1. Operation of the property's energy and gas bill
1.1 What is a meter reading and how does it work?
An electricity meter measures the amount of electricity consumed, usually in kWh. The meter reading records the numbers showing consumption, which is used to calculate the electricity bill. It is located next to the main door of your house/apt.
In Ireland, bills are split into day and night (at night, the price per kWh is lower).
Examples:
Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) - 11 digits
This is the reference number associated with electricity meter point in energy distribution systems.
What is a gas meter?
A gas meter measures the amount of gas consumed and its reading is the record of the figures showing consumption, which is used to calculate the gas bill. If it is an apartment, it is in the basement and if it is a house, it is located outside the property.
Examples:
Gas Point Registration Number (GPRN) - 7 digits
This number is unique to each supply point and is used to identify and track a household's gas consumption.
What is the difference between Bill-pay and prepaid bills?
Postpaid (bill payment): bills are issued by suppliers every two months. It is normally a direct debit from the bank account; however, it is possible to request the invoice by letter and make the transfer.
Prepaid: with prepaid accounts, it is necessary to add credits to the meter, meaning you pay before using.
1.2 Doing setup of my bill-pay or postpaid bills
Electricity: To perform the setup, the MPRN and meter reading will be required. The meter reading is valid for 3 days.
Gas: To perform the setup, the GPRN and meter reading will be required. The meter reading is valid for 3 days.
This process can be done by phone or through the website. Below is the contact information for the possible suppliers:
1-Electric Ireland 2- Board Gáis Energy 3-SSE Airtricity 4-Flo gas
1.3 Doing a top-up of my prepaid energy bill
Top-up through the website
The residents of the house should have a card with the Account Number, this numerical sequence is used to add credits to the meter. If you are moving into an empty property, the card code will be provided by Leevin to top up in your first few weeks of living there.
After this action, the person who topped up the account will receive an installation/power code in the email address provided at the time of topping up, where, if the credits are not added to the meter, they should press A + code + B.
If this does not work, they should contact the Customer Service of the supplying company that is responsible for supplying that property.

After that you receive a confirmation that the registration is done from Leevin: Sign in the app > Forgot Password > Set up a new password.
Note: If the meter is smart, the credits on it will always be shown as €10, and only through the app will it be possible to know the real value.
For Pinergy company: The password for the Pinergy app is always "Landlord". There are the same benefits of expense control and direct top-ups.
1.4 Doing a top-up of my prepaid gas bill
1° Take your gas card to the Payzone Shop and buy recharge credit. (You can't add credit online and the cards don't have an ID number)
2° Put the specific entry in the meter. Make sure the gold chip on the card is facing the gas meter display.
3° The display will show the amount of credit on your gas card. Press the 'A' button to transfer credit and see your updated credit balance.
4° If you have a negative balance, the gas meter display will show 'OFF'. You need to press and hold the 'A' button again to turn the gas back on.
Note: Any debts on your meter, for example, Emergency Credit? This will be removed from Top Up within a proportion of 60/40.

2. Operation of the property's household waste disposal bill
It depends on the property whether residents need to pay for bin services. Feel free to contact Leevin Ireland for consultation if your residence requires bin payments.
Below is information on the recommended responsible companies that you can licence agreement:
https://service.citybin.com/signup/
https://www.panda.ie/panda-home/sign-up/
The residents can licence agreement the services through the companies' websites, but there are some parts of the cities where only 1 company collects.
It is recommended that you use the bins (240L - 2 people, 1 collection per week), in the last instance they can buy the bags/seals from the companies to collect from the locations (collection check).
3. Details on utilities (water and internet) and their usage
Water Usage: In Ireland, residential water usage does not incur individual charges for the users, allowing you to responsibly enjoy this essential service at no cost.

Internet Services: Regarding internet connectivity, please note that Leevin does not provide internet services to the properties. Residents are responsible for licence agreementing the Internet service according to their needs directly with the company in charge.
4. In case of a power/gas outage
If you've already set up your service with a provider and you experience an outage, please contact ESB/GNI (depending on whether it's electricity or gas) to request reconnection of the service that's down. A technician will be dispatched to your location to reconnect the gas/electricity.
Note: If the outage is not due to disconnection but something that you could have resolved yourself, such as resetting breakers, there's a €151 fine for the technician's visit. It's essential to have completed the setup process with a provider. Calling ESB/GNI without having done so won't resolve the issue. Therefore, it's crucial to set up your service as soon as possible.
You need to know the location and access to the main meter to show them.
